Stephen is a former VFX Supervisor turned screenwriter and director.  He was named a “Stephen King Approved Screenwriter” by Stephen King himself after adapting his short story THE MANGLER for New Line. As a writer/director Stephen has won numerous awards at festivals around the globe. His latest indie darling FLYTRAP is in worldwide release via Amazon Prime, Roku, TubiTV, Google Play and Itunes. His music videos have been Short-listed for Video of the Year Grammy’s.

Stephen's films have screened & won audience & Jury awards at: Cannes, ECU The European Independent Film Festival, The Chelsea Film Festival, Worldfest Houston, Dances With Films,  The Monaco Independent Film Festival, The Idyllwild Festival of Cinema, Ramsgate International Film & Television Festival, Festival du Film de Strasbourg, and The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

 

Currently Stephen is in Development with his epic fantasy feature film THE DIRECTOR which has been optioned by powerhouse producers Elizabeth Avellon (SIN CITY, SPY KIDS, EL MARIACHI, FROM DUSK TIL DAWN) and Rana Joy Glickman (KICKING AND SCREAMING, FULL TILT BOOGIE) and their newly formed Tealhouse Productions. THE DIRECTOR will reveal the scoped confluence of Stephen's talents as a Story‐teller and a craftsman.

 

Stephen was also on the jury of this year’s Raindance Film Festival in London.
